Courses and Groups
The Well Women Centre runs FREE courses which cover personal development including: Basic Self Esteem, Confidence Building and the occasional Assertiveness courses.
We also run courses looking at Managing Anxiety and Depression.
All of these courses are held at the Well Women Centre premises at Cheapside in Wakefield City Centre, with the Managing Anxiety and Depression courses also being delivered at different community sites around the Wakefield District.

The Time of Your Life - Living the Menopause Naturally
The course covers holistic and natural approaches for dealing with symptoms, feelings, relationships and ideas for ageing positively. The next FREE10 week course will be starting soon, please call to book a place.

Yoga Classes – Weekly sessions for a balanced mind and body.
Meditation Group - Calm your mind and expand your horizons with our holistic meditation group.
All of the courses are facilitated by qualified counsellors, experienced in working with groups. We aim to create a safe, confidential space, where women can meet to support one another. Both the Managing Depression and the Managing Anxiety courses are written with an understanding of the effects that Anxiety and Depression can have upon women.
